Multimedia Production Stations
The college has a number of Multimedia Stations, also referred to as Encoding Stations, for ACC Faculty and Staff. The Multimedia Stations are computer systems with hardware and software for creating digital media files. These stations are able to do the following tasks:
- Capture Audio & Video from VHS or a Video Camera.
- Creating a streaming video file for the web or Blackboard.
- Convert a digital media file to a streaming video file. (ex AVI to RM)
- Create a slideshow for the web, Blackboard or DVD.
- Basic Audio & Video Editing.
- Create a DVD.
