The following information is provided to assist faculty and staff with the use and storing of streaming video content on the streaming video server.  Faculty and staff should be familiar with the Use of College Information Systems administrative rule (3.05.002) and the Streaming Video Publishing Requirements.

Failure to comply with the Use of College Information Systems administrative rule or the following general requirements may result in files stored on the streaming video server to be edited, disabled, or removed.

• Sharing the streaming video server user account information with employees and others is prohibited.
• Violating the privacy rights of others is prohibited.
• Storing files and streamed content must not contain personal, private, or confidential information that is not directly relevant to the mission of the institution.
• Commercial transactions, advertisement, and unauthorized use of copyrighted material are prohibited.
• Stored files and streamed content must not contain information that is in violation, or promotes the violation, of any local, state, or federal law.
