1. Visit the QuickTime download web site.  Download QuickTime without iTunes.

2. Click the “Free Download Now” button.

3. A “File Download – Security Warning” message appears.  Click Run.

4. The QuickTime setup file starts to download. An “Internet Explorer – Security Warning” message appears.  Click Run.

5. The Choose Setup Language window appears.  Select English and click OK.

6. The Welcome to QuickTime message appears.  Click Next.

7. The License Agreement window appears.  Click Yes.
   
   Note: If you do not accept the agreement and cancel the installation, QuickTime will not install on the computer and may not be able to play QuickTime files.

8. The Choose Destination Location window appears.  Use the default setting and click Next.

9. QuickTime begins installing.  This may take a few minutes.

10. The Installation Successful message appears.  Click Finish.

11. QuickTime is now installed.
