  • <STAFF> helped with PowerPoint questions, Blackboard questions, and instructional design issues. <STAFF> was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and patient. <STAFF> walked me through the PowerPoint and Blackboard answers and helped me discover new instructional design techniques. I appreciate <STAFF> expertise and <STAFF> kindness.
  • <STAFF> was just ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY WONDERFUL. <STAFF> knows the material and is very hands on. Keep up the good work <STAFF> BRAVO!!!!!!!!
  • <STAFF> was very patient, but was not psychologically prepared to answer my questions about why the possibility of individual consulting on blackboard/online use had not been advertised much. <STAFF> also seemed to believe that group workshops are helpful for the average instructor. I have attended many of those for 20 years at three different institutions and have never attended a useful one that involved a staff member conducting a group class while participants were trying to follow on individual machines. How much individual consultation am I allowed, and may I pick my consultant?
  • <STAFF> did a superb job! <STAFF> corrected several old e-mail addresses (austin.cc.tx.us) to the new version and gave me some excellent suggestions on how to improve my web site. I am certainly very pleased!!!
  • I was surpised and pleased with the very prompt response to my inquiry, and I appreciated <STAFF> flexibility working with my schedule to arrange a time and place for a meeting. <STAFF> was very helpful, and s/he patiently answered my many questions regarding copyright and fair use of digital images. s/he also gave me ideas of directions in which to develop the curriculum: for instance, <STAFF> made suggestions on how to utilize the discussion board and create groups in blackboard for my PCM course. s/he clearly answered my questions regarding the type of proposals that would be appropriate for "innovation grants." s/he was easy to work with and knowledgable, and as I get further along in my project I will consult with <STAFF> again.
  • <STAFF> is extremely knowledgeable and was very helpful in answering ALL my questions about web site development for my department, using Blackboard, and developing a workshop specifically for my department. Thanks to IDS for providing us with expert help!
  • I have requested <STAFF> assistance numerous times for assistance with Blackboard on-line. <STAFF> is always assessible, and always prompt in <STAFF> response to setting up a time to meet with me. What I especially like is that <STAFF> explains what we are going to do, makes sure that I understand, then lets me do it. <STAFF> is very professional and it goes without saying, extremely knowledgeable. There is never any need for follow-up because when I leave every thing is taken care of.

  • I used the video equipment in my classroom for a distance learning video. <STAFF> changed the digital video to a video I could put in a VCR. The task required hours of work and follow-up, as well. <STAFF> has excellent, professional consultation skills. S/He is a definite asset to ACC.

  • <STAFF> was almost more dedicated to getting my web site up than I was. While s/he could not fix the problem during our session, s/he gave me the key to fixing it myself. S/He followed up via e-mail more than once to be certain that all was well. Honestly, I didn't expect that level of attention.

  • A student was having difficulty with downloading a program to help with Blackboard. S/He found a resource for me to offer the student with an invitation to call back if not successful.
  • <STAFF> was very helpful and referred me to the department to obtain the video that I needed. I appreciate the assistance s/he gave and s/he also let me know that if they could not help me then s/he would be glad to come over and help tape the class.
  • Even though, I had a problem neither of us had ever seen before, we were able to solve the problem and get the site to work. A very happy conclusion to a stumping problem.
