Program Revisions

All programs that make revisions must follow internal ACC Curriculum and Program Committee procedures listed below to ensure that they are appropriately documented and entered into the ACC Datatel system.

However, there are certain changes that trigger a Workforce Program revision to be reported to the THECB. The Curriculum Development office will assist you in making this determination. Please refer to Chapter 6 of the Guidelines for Instructional Programs in Workforce Education (GIPWE).

If a change is required proceed with the following steps.

  1. Obtain recommendation from the Program Advisory Committee. The recommendation should be reflected in the meeting minutes and kept on file with the Department Chair.
  2. Complete the ACC Program Revision form.
  3. Complete the THECB Forms as required.
  4. Submit revisions to the Instructional Development Office for review
  5. Make any required changes and submit to the appropriate Dean and AVP for signatures
  6. Submit to the Curriculum and Program Committee for approval at least two weeks prior to the scheduled meeting
  7. Staff enter Program revisions into the Datatel system and/or electronically submit revisions to the THECB
