Interactive Video Classrooms (IVC)
Deliver instruction to more than one location via Internet
Interactive video classrooms (IVC) allow instructors to deliver instruction to more than one location via an Internet protocol (IP) connection. IVC is similar to face-to-face instruction with the addition of being connected to another site.
The instructor is seen on projectors or monitors. A wide variety of course content can be displayed to multiple locations. Instructors not only need to master the IVC room equipment, but they also need to design course content that enhances student interactions and takes advantage of the rooms' technology.
Although credit courses have a priority for ACC IVC room usage, Interactive Video classrooms are also available for workshops, events, training sessions, seminars, and meetings, etc.
