Media Technology Specialists are the immediate point of contact for general daily classroom support at your campus and they will help you to:

  • troubleshoot your computer or other hardware
  • diagnose technology issues
  • analyze hardware and software functionality in classrooms
  • identify, resolve, and repairs problems within scope of their authority and knowledge

How do we support faculty & staff?

Media Technology Specialists are responsive to the needs and inquiries of faculty and staff, who often require immediate analysis and action to complete a task or solve a problem. They can help explain and resolve technology issues, and they will follow up with instructors to assure the continuous stability and functionality of the instructional technology on a daily basis.

Media Technology Specialists provide advanced software and peripherals support, training, and assistance to faculty and staff in the Faculty Resources Centers (FRC). Media Technology Specialists are also available for consultations, recommendations, training and direct support as needed with the usage of equipment on campus for such things as video conferencing or special events.

Media Technology Specialists at your campus are the point of referral to Instructional Designers, Librarians, or other appropriate staff, if they cannot help you with technical issues.
