Educational Media
Classroom Use:Faculty can checkout VHS videos, DVD's and audio tapes that are cataloged in the ACC library through the Media Centers on the 7 major campuses. The standard checkout period is 3 days but can be extended if there are no other requests for the item. Reservations for media can be submitted by filling out an equipment request form or submitting the online request form. The Media Centers can also take emergency requests over the phone.
Please note, media collections vary at each campus and it is therefore necessary at times to send items from one campus to another. Please submit media requests well in advance of the date you will need to pick up the item. Library Use:Faculty may also put VHS videos, DVD's and audio tapes on library reserve for student use in the library. Contact a librarian on your campus for assistance in putting items on reserve. Purchase of New Materials:Faculty can request that new titles be added to the ACC collection for classroom or student use. For materials to be used in class, faculty may submit a request through any ACC library to preview or have ACC purchase programs. It usually takes about a semester to get new materials in so please plan your orders accordingly |
