ACC has obtained a campus-wide license for the Respondus Authoring Tool and the Respondus LockDown Browser. The Respondus Authoring Tool is an online testing application which enables students to take secure, computer-based exams within Blackboard. Secure computer based exams are delivered in an ACC Testing Center and through a special, secure browser called the Respondus' Lockdown Browser. Test results are automatically sent to an instructor's Bb grade book.

Respondus LockDown Browser™ is a customized browser that increases the security of test delivery in Blackboard. When students use Respondus LockDown Browser to access an exam, they are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications. In addition to the Lockdown browser, instructors can also add an instructor-generated password for secure computer based exam..

Respondus' Test Bank Network gives instructors access to several publisher's test banks. These test banks can be downloaded directly to an instructor's computer to create a course exam.
