Digital Fellows Faculty Institute Summer 2018
A Faculty Institute on Digital Strategies for Student Success
The 2017-18 Digital Fellows are a group of faculty from across the college that researched and piloted digital interventions in their courses. At this Summer Institute these faculty will share their interventions, experiences, outcomes and lessons learned. Participants will have the opportunity to explore digital strategies for use in their own courses and engage in discussion with other faculty about innovative ways to engage students in the classroom and online
“A growing body of evidence is demonstrating that technologies, when used effectively by faculty and student advisors, can personalize learning at unprecedented scale potentially enabling all students – not just those who are able to attend the most elite, expensive colleges – to get the best and most effective education at a reasonable price.” Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Digital Learning (https://postsecondary.gatesfoundation.org/areas-of-focus/innovation/digital-learning/)
